Mendeley Openoffice Plugin Installation
Hi!I hope you could please help me.A couple of days a go, I was working just fine in writer, but then the toolbar of mendeley began to look weird and I couldn't add news references. So I closed the toolbar and then I lost it! there is no option of mendeley toolbar anymore. So I tried to install it again from mendeley but didn't work, I also found the options to install extension from the writer and it was the same. I asked for help from mendeley support and they told me to try to install version 5 but I can't find it in the official page so I tried with the first version I downloaded and didn't work.I already tried with versions of libreoffice 220.127.116.11, 6.1.5 and mendeley 1.19.4 and 1.19.5 and nothing. Please help.
I attached the some screenshoots of the error messages I get (Sorry, they are in spanish).
Error message from writer:
Error from mendeley:
I have the same problem and it gives me the same errors. Have you found a solution yet?

I asked for help from mendeley support and they told me to try to install version 5 but I can't find it in the official page
I bet they meant 'install LibreOffice version 5..' - and any released version of LibreOffice is available from download archive (mentioned on this Ask sites many tiles).

Yes, I really tried with different versions but none worked (version 5 included).
I have just tried with LibreOffice 18.104.22.168 x64 on Windows 10, with a normal Mendeley Desktop installed from https://www.mendeley.com/download-desktop/, and it installed fine (plugin version 1.19.4), and runs correctly.. so - no idea why could it not work for you. I'd try to remove LibreOffice, and its user profile, just in case; check that no program directory remnants left; and then try reinstalling.
Hi! Thanks Mike Kaganski, I did what you recommended and finally i can use mendeley again. Thanks!!Also, someone recommend me to delete all files remaining in C after uninstalling both programs, have to looke for them in the hiden items, even used CCleaner ^^uAnd only then it worked.
